A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep a separate log of those search terms.

An email may be retained for the time needed to respond and maintain the exchange. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

Elko County guidance identifies public custodians such as Sheriff Records, the criminal courts, the Central Repository for Nevada Records of Criminal History, and the Nevada Sex Offender Registry. Visitor information is not compiled into third-party criminal profiles or consumer reports, and this website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Outside companies operate the search boxes. A provider's own privacy policy governs information entered in its tool, including retention and disclosure practices beyond our control. Review that policy before submitting a query.

Links may lead to courts, the Sheriff, Nevada agencies, legal resources, or outside search tools. Once a visitor leaves this website, the destination's policy controls. Check it before disclosing personal information.
Advertising companies may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select targeted ads.

Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:

Nevada's Public Records Act, NRS Chapter 239, governs records held by public agencies and does not turn this private website's logs into Elko County records.
